That "$99 whole-house special" is a bait ad - the real number appears once they are in your hallway, or the "clean" is a shop-vac at the register. We photograph the inside of your ducts before and after instead.
Air Duct Cleaning Before & After in Atlanta, GA
Photos don’t lie the way advertisements can. When we pull a mat of gray lint and construction dust out of a duct run that a family has been breathing for years, the look on their face says more than any brochure. Below are real jobs we’ve done in Atlanta. None of them were pretty going in. All of them ended with cleaner air, a written guarantee, and a homeowner who finally knew what was inside their walls.

Return Duct Packed with Drywall Dust After a Renovation
A contractor had refinished the upstairs hallway and never sealed the return. The system pulled drywall dust through the entire house. We ran a Rotobrush rotary brush through every return line to dislodge the caked-on powder, then put the Nikro negative-pressure unit on the main trunk to pull the loosened debris out of the home entirely. The Abatement Technologies HEPA filter kept that fine dust from re-entering the living room while we worked. Afterward, the homeowner stopped finding white film on their furniture within a week.
Pet Hair and Dander Built Up Across Three Bedrooms
Two German Shepherds, one HVAC system, several years of blissful ignorance. The supply ducts feeding the bedrooms had a half-inch coating of hair, dander, and the fine grit that Atlanta’s pollen seasons add to the mix. Brush agitation at the duct wall broke the bond, the negative-air extraction pulled it out, and the homeowner told us the upstairs stopped smelling like wet dog within days. We showed them before and after photos of their own vents before we left the driveway. It’s part of the job.
Condensation Damage and Mold Growth in the Main Supply Trunk
We’ve seen this in too many Atlanta homes: an uninsulated metal trunk sweating through the summer had turned the duct interior into a breeding ground. We cleaned the affected trunk with the Rotobrush system and extracted the loosened material with the Nikro unit. Then we showed the homeowner exactly where the condensation was forming and pointed them to insulation options. We don’t sell insulation, so the advice was free. The mold didn’t return because the moisture source got addressed.
Decades of Dust, Coins, and a Nesting Doll Collection
A floor register in a 1970s ranch near Decatur had become a child’s secret hiding spot. By the time we arrived, the duct below it held coins, crayons, and a surprising number of small plastic figures. We removed the debris by hand, then ran the rotating brush down the run to clear the years of accumulated dust and hair. The homeowner kept the figures. The improved airflow to that room was immediate, and the strange rattle that had been driving them crazy finally stopped.
Smoker’s Residue Film Throughout the Entire System
You can’t hide what’s in the ducts when the previous homeowner’s habit leaves a sticky amber film on every interior surface. We worked through each run systematically, using brush agitation to break the residue and the negative-air extraction to remove it from the home. The difference in air quality was significant enough that the new owners replaced the existing return filter with an Aprilaire media filter to maintain the improvement. We supplied it, installed it, and included the whole job under the same written guarantee.
Dryer Vent Packed with Lint Behind a Second-Floor Laundry Room
The dryer was taking two cycles to dry a load, and the exterior vent flap barely moved when the machine ran. Kestrel does dryer vent cleaning as a standalone service, and this was a textbook case: a long vertical run dense with compacted lint. We cleared the full run and bypassed the lint trap zone so we could extract loose debris from behind the appliance too. The dryer’s drying time came back down to normal, and the homeowner now has a dry, clear line that isn’t a candle waiting for a spark.
